Job Description

We are seeking a Project Manager to work directly with our Team and Customers. This position will be highly visible within the company as well as to our clients and our clients’ personnel, and as such the candidate will be expected to represent JB Consulting with the highest levels of professionalism, domain expertise and technical skill.

  • You will be part of a cross-functional team to ensure the execution of project deliverables is on schedule and of the highest quality standards.
  • Leading the planning and implementation for a set number of projects
  • Collaborating with the CEO, VP of Delivery, and Project Champion to define project scope, goals and deliverables.
  • Defining and creating project plans for project prioritization and implementation to include managing project investment plan, managing project resource allocation, planning, and scheduling project timelines.
  • Managing all activities throughout the project lifecycle such as requirement analysis, vendor selection, design, development, testing, implementation and hand-over to post-go live support.
  • Assessing and facilitating resolution of project risks and issues
  • Evaluating trade-offs between project size and complexity, cost, urgency, risk, and stakeholder value
  • Continually collaborating with and managing relevant stakeholders

Qualifications

  • Minimum 4-5 years’ experience in formal Project Management positions
  • Must have at least 2 years of IT experience
  • Minimum 4 years’ experience working with Engineering or Technical teams.
  • Demonstrated ability to work with virtual cross-functional project teams.
  • Proficient with MS Project and MS Office
  • Demonstrated ability to handle multiple and competing priorities and projects.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead a project team through scope development and to drive decision making.
  • Ability to lead through ambiguity and influence without authority throughout all phases of the project.
  • life cycle
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Proficient in managing stakeholders at varying levels of maturity to influence and deliver business outcomes.
  • Industry Project Management PMP Certification not required but would be preferred.
  • Experience in Healthcare IT a huge plus

Job Description

We are seeking a Software Engineer to work directly with our Team and Customers. This position will be highly visible within the company as well as to our clients and our clients’ personnel, and as such the candidate will be expected to represent JB Consulting with the highest levels of professionalism, domain expertise and technical skill.

  • You will be part of a cross-functional team to ensure execution of project deliverables is on schedule and of highest quality standards.
  • Provide timely and effective communication of project progress.
  • Ability to work with in-house and customer teams efficiently and effectively.
  • Develop new features and functionality according to customer requirements.
  • Report to the JB Consulting management team on project issues and project schedules.
  • Actively participate in team meetings, develop and manage action items.
  • Verify that all deliverables are well understood by the entire project team.
  • Create quality parameters and ensure the product(s) meets such parameters.
  • Learn HealthTech security policies, including company sponsored HIPAA training.
  • Develop proficiency in common pharmacy and health insurance procedures, policies.
  • Gain a deep understanding of the customer experience and requirements, working closely with customers to understand customer issues, propose solutions and convert the solutions into technical product requirements.
  • Clearly communicate product ideas and requirements to all levels of the organization.

Qualifications

  • YOU MUST have at least 5 years of experience in technologies including C#, .NET, MVC, Javascript, Entity Framework and be passionate about learning new technologies.
  • Preferred candidates will have working experience in the Healthcare industry, a proven record of leading enterprise level software teams, and be highly proficient in the skill sets listed above.
  • Experience with Git, SQL, Docker, all a plus.
  • Experience in AWS/Cloud environments and DevOps including CI/CD, all a plus.
  • Experience in backend and API development as well as user interface design, architecture and development operations.
  • Understanding of the software product life cycle, including planning, architecture, development and implementation.
  • Ability to think critically and creatively and to contribute to a dynamic and collaborative team environment.
  • Ability to engage professionally in a corporate environment and when dealing directly with Fortune 500 level customers.
  • BA/BS in Engineering, Computer Science, Software Development or Science fields.
